Opeyemi is a versatile business executive with extensive experience in both Business Transformation and Corporate Strategy in multiple sectors and continents. Before this appointment, she was the Deputy CEO of Total Ascent, a Business Consulting and Training company.
Prior to this, she headed the Strategy and Business Transformation department at Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp) Plc, a Conglomerate listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. In this role, she led strategy development and planning for Transcorp’s subsidiary companies. Yemi also led key business improvement and growth initiatives such as the bid development and subsequent acquisition of the 972MW Ughelli power plant in Delta State as well as the successful establishment of a first-of-its-kind juice concentrate production plant in Nigeria.
Mrs Okojie has varied experience in multiple organisations including Group Strategy at United Bank for Africa (UBA); Strategy Consulting at Accenture, USA; and Transformation Consulting at Capgemini Ernst & Young (now Capgemini), Europe and USA.
Yemi started her career as an Equities Sales and Trading intern at Goldman Sachs, London. She graduated with a first-class in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University, London and has an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Finance, Strategy and General Management.
