Tolulope (Tolu) Oluwole is the Head, Investor Relations. He has the responsibility for managing engagements with shareholders, investors, analysts and other stakeholders globally. His role involves managing the interests/expectations of various stakeholders, through the proactive engagements, dissemination of the Group’s strategic information and corporate disclosure. Until this appointment he was Deputy Head of the Department. In previous roles, he was the Investor Relations Manager at the erstwhile First Bank of Nigeria Plc, and Head, Financial Advisory at Standard Alliance Capital & Asset Management Limited, where he was accredited by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an Issuing House Manager. Tolu has developed expertise, very broad and deep knowledge and insights in banking and finance, financial accounting and analyses, investor relations management and engagement as well as credit and business ratings of financial institutions.
Tolu spent several years at Deloitte, where he rose from supporting to managing audit assignments, and subsequently to the position of Strategy and Operations Consultant. In this role he carried out a number of due diligence and business transformation exercises. He holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Hull Business School, United Kingdom, and Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He has also attended management and leadership training programs at Lagos Business School, Stanford Business School and Harvard Business School. Tolu is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a full member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, UK (CISI).
